Bad flat spot after fitting OTR Akrapovics

Hi,

Just fitted an OTR Akrapovic exhaust.
While I was at it I completly removed the AIS and I also have a Lambda bypass plug.

when testing the bike i noticed the following.

When giving it some throttle the bike cuts out for a second then shoots off.
this happens every time i give it a good amount of throttle.

I've got a feeling that the bike is too lean, am I right???

first thing turn ur tick over up to 1500rpm.

have u changed the co2 readout?

have u fitted any air filters?

have u fitted a fuelling mod?

I'm not an expert but you have allow the exhaust fumes exit the engine easier now u need to change or modify the fuelling to suit.

The O2 resistor type eliminators do not work on a XT660's the A/F ratio will be all over the place with one connected. I see you do chip tunning for cars do have you any experance with Yamaha or Kawasiki ECU's?

By the way I posted off the fuel mod for you this morning. On your 2008 with O2 sensor you will need one Dyno Jets O2 Optimizers or one of my O2 controllers to control the closed loop circuit otherwise you will never get the A/F ratio right in the closed loop, controlling the closed loop A/F ratio will smoothen the ride out quite a bit.
