Yamaha Tenere Experience - Wales

He's a video of my recent trip to Wales visiting the Yamaha Tenere Experience

If you've never taken your Tenere (or any other bike) off-road, highly recommend this.

I've ridden with the Jones' a few times over the years and recognise a fair bit of your video. Looks like good Tenere land and notice you had a quick lie down and a rest @ 20:30!!

Well, it had been a long day.

As a hint, Bikes do tend to go anywhere when you've knocked them into neutral

Are those trails regular by-ways accessible to the public or is it closed to organised events only?

They look like forestry roads on the video so must be on private land, I know Geraint Jones uses a lot of his own land to do the schools on.
You could always come out with me and is much cheaper

Good effort. Nice to see the bike being used for what it was designed for. I 'found' neutral a few times when I first purchased mine in 09 and took it off road. In fact I dropped it with 23 miles on the clock in similar circumstances! I then raised the gear peddle a notch which solved this problem, for me at least. It helped me get my foot correctly positioned in off road boots when standing. Thanks for the post.

.

Is this an easy mod to do?

Don't think it'll be so much of a problem on the road as I'd tend to ride with my toes on the pegs as opposed to the insole but would be good to know. Thanks

You'll need more space between foot peg and lever with Motox boots.

Simply remove the lever and move up a spline and re-tighten.
