Hi,
I bought my new XT660 last week (White color) and I'm looking for some informations (first of all to make it sound better and look nicer). Sure I'll get a lot of infos in this great forum ! |

Hiya Bob and welcome, you have found the best place for all XT info!!! I too have Leo Vince plus several of the mods suggested on here (snorkel removed etc) and my bike sounds and goes really well, a super fun bike!!!!

(Now sold on, sob) 2011 Blue XT660X with gold wheels, was 26,500 km. Engine mods: K&N Stage 1 filter, DNA Stage 2 filter, snorkel removed, Kev fuel mod fitted. Plus: smoked Puig screen, Yam aluminium sump guard, Yamaha / Acerbis handguards, Givi Trekker aluminium side cases, Leo Vince X3 cans plus Kev front fork mod and Fender Xtender. Just fitted Michelin Road Pilot 3 tyres. SOLD the XTX for a Super Ten 1200. And just bought a Raptor 700 so staying on here for some tips.... |

Wow, MTC exhausts sound very nice ! (but they should be much more expensive than the Leovince ones...) I'm going to have a look for a couple of Leovince. Is a KN (or DNA...) necessary when you change the exhaust ? (Is there a real change with a new air filter element ?) Thanks |
