Usual when your looking for one you cant find one, when someone contacts you about one they are miles away, when someone contacts you and its around london where a mate could look at it im too busy and they either sell it or its got minor bits and bobs i wouldnt be happy with so i would have had to spend money on it to get it to my way.

Must now get finger out on tiger 1050 to get her serviced, cleaned up proper style and on the market.....any takers.........5....10....11.50.....11.59 ....gess hard crew you lot!!!

07 Triumph Tiger 1050 ABS Pearl White 29kmiles

Will list extras on sun as just listed them 2 mins ago an internet stopped, allowed me to continue then tried to resign in and lost all typing!!!

Sun edit

The bike is registered as a Northern Ireland bike, but the bike is located in Glasgow at the moment, but im moving to Edinburgh at the end of the month with work. Some of the extras not on the bike are in Northern Ireland (or home for me) so if these where to come with the bike it may take me a while to go and get them.

Right extras that are either on the bike or come with the bike.

Taller screen (think its called a thunder screen, but its taller and slimmer than triumph touring screen which i couldnt get on with. Also have a standard triumph screen and triumph touring screen. )
Triumph Heated grips (very warm)
KTM hand guard (plastic ones)
Pazza short clutch and front brake levers (span adjustment on both, coloured black)
Remus power cone can single can only, S/S. (comes with baffle, circlip is at home but dont need to it hold baffle in)
Scottoiler (standard version)
Givi Top box rack (sorry top box is coming with me as ive had it for years)
Givi quick release pannier frames, including locking knobs with keys so no one can nick the racks with a 2p coin! (Avaiable 2no. Givi E41, keyless panniers with code bit on top flap, and key to open pannier up and take off)
Wheels have special black rims, and white hubs/spokes (non standard very few have this paint setup)

Service history- Full, need to get it serviced before i sell (minor service, oil, oil filter, air filter etc)
Tyres- Front around 1k left as squared off, Rear around 2-3k left. (Bridgestones BT023 dual compounds, cost 230+ for pair)
Chain sprocket- Not sure when fitted but less than 1/4 of life used. Currently got +1 tooth on front as it basically correct speedo and allows easier motorway crusing (lately ive dont alot of this to get some where for the twisties)
Brake pads- Not sure, i fitted new all round about 6months ago and i would gues about 4-5k miles done since.

Bad bits
Bike needs serviced and some of the standard things for eg screens, standard exhaust etc are at home in northern ireland so would take me a while to get them back over to scotland.
These bikes burn oil as standard, but with the remus can it burns more. Spoke to 3 mechanics, 2 of which own 1050's and they said its normal just keep it topped up. Read of a guy whoses done 100k miles on a 1050 which burned oil and never hand any problems.
The wheels have a few marks on them from changing tyres, and theres the odd spots on the rear where the paint has lifted off but it isnt a continual peeling
The tank has marks on it where another owner (other than my dad and me) has put a tank bag, never tried to get these removed.
Standard wee marks for a 30k mile bike.

Any thing else you want to know just ask.

Price- make me an offer for fully kitted or tell me what you want and i will let you know what i want!!

I was planning trips on the bike to Europe next year - Maps out, checking routes and places to see and generally looking forward to jumping on the bike and just having a good time, me and the XT.
I then 'woke up' looked at the bank balance and the Visa bill with Christmas coming up and my daughter going off to Uni next year and jammed the brakes on. The result is that the bike has to go, down size the car and get myself sorted. The other result is Max gets what he wants and I have the satisfaction of knowing the bike goes to a friend and forum member.

The Ten is a fantastic bike and does everything I would want a bike to do - I can honestly say that it is the best I have ever had - Others may have been faster, drop dead gorgeous, or better in some other way but as has been said before the Ten is a fantastic all rounder. Aye sad to see her go.
With a bit of planning and good fortune things will improve and I plan to be in the market for another bike as soon as possible. At the moment I cant think of a better buy than the Ten so who knows next Summer I might be in the market for another.

Enjoy the bike Max and look after it ya bum.
