Today I took Shere Khan (that's what I have called the Tiger, mainly because the thing is a killer of wildlife, 2 birds a Weasel and several attempts to attract numpty door slammers into my path) in for her first service, and to get the 'running in' map that Triumph don't put on the bike replaced with something more erm, motorcycle like!

While I was there I noticed the TT600RE had a SOLD sign on it, so like a good little former owner I asked about it, someone in New Zealand has bought it, over the net, sight unseen for the asking price!! and they have even arranged a currier to pick it up and ship it..... some people must really want some bike!

I can't imagine paying �2500 for a bike from the other side of the world, sight unseen then paying shipping and all the import crap that goes with it too...

I could understand if the person was coming to europe for a extended trip and need a bike, its kind of odd to go through importing and transporting. as i would be suprised if the same was not more available closer to home?
