Usual questions,, waterproof ?? or do you need a waterproof liner ?

Does anything come close in price? i was just off the phone with the guy in Romania who makes them .complete set panniers ,rails ,top box rack everything posted to the UK for under �500 .

Well....
Touratech racks and Panniers alone (no topbox) will set you over �1K, so �500 for the lot is a really good price.

Metal Boxes
Dont forget they all look great till you drop your bike with them on ! . You might save some money now but will it be worth it in the long run ?. Those new soft bags from Adventure Spec look good and with a rack may come in at the same price. You would have no trouble selling them on later aswell .

some of them look like **** ,I know looks aren"t really what they are for but it has to look half decent not like a microwave oven stuck on the side of the bike
