My turn to order sprocket

I've been thinking about it for some time and have finally decided.

I find that first gear can be a bit fast sometimes and was thinking to go down one tooth on the front sprocket.

Can someone tell me if the original chain will still fit? And is it 15T stock, meaning I should order 14T? I'd also be grateful for any cheap links

ive been toying the idea for ages too!

When off roading i find first too slow and seond too fast....its like i need a 1 and half gear.

And yes, you do need to order a 14T.

Original chain will be fine with the 14t. You will probably find that it wares quite quickly. I found the same 'hole' in the gearing when tackling the rougher bits while off road, Others I believe have gone up on the rear sprocket as it in theory causes less strain on the chain.
Wemoto is one supplier to try - there are others.
This link may be help you too.

I'm pretty sure I've got a Renthal 14T sprocket with about 500 miles on it in the shed if anyone wants to buy it?

Any chance you'd be willing to ship it to Norway? How much do you want for the it incl. the shipping?

Edit: Looks like they are dirt cheap, may be cheaper just to buy one here I guess. Thanks for the offer, though!

I have a 14T on my XTR... made it far better in the tight narrow tracks...
Also kev's twist grip mod also helps..takes alot of the leap out when comeing
back on the gas at slow speeds... more control ..
I'm getting close to a new sprockets/chain.. have seen 525 conversion kits
Are they worth putting on?...
