Hi, I bought a 2009 XT660Z (which has done 3,500 miles and hasn't had a hard life) a couple of weeks ago. Due to the weather (and the fact i've got another bike to use) i've only got around to riding it today.
Now to the problem. Having had numerous big singles over the years i'm used to a good bit of popping and banging but this really is terrible. It pops at every opportunity and in traffic the engine just cuts out making unrideable.
It obvious has a problem and i've just emailed the dealer i bought it from. In the meantime, any ideas anyone?
