just did a quick 3300 mile ride half way across the states
just did a quick 3300 mile ride half way across the states
my bike was in Arizona with Al Jesse of www.jesseluggage.com, he borrowed it so he could make welding jigs off my frame. so they are now available for the XT660Z, if you look at my other RTW blog/ photos on here http://www.xt660.com/showthread.php?t=18174 i have more luggage with me on this 'short ride' in the panniers than on my 38,000...even my tent is in the panniers!!! the link to the luggage is here... http://www.xt660.com/showthread.php?t=19179 anyhow i'll add photos of the ride from Arizona to Louisiana, via Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Texas. Any questions on specific locations fire away... i am not going to write too much on this one, i'll just say i started the ride from the overland expo, one of the largest collections of overlanders, bikes and 4x4 in the states in one place at one time here's the photos...
