Ive got an annoying rattle coming from I think the screen or clocks, I've tightened the screen screws but the noise is still there at about 3k revs like a vibration sound, has anyone had this on the ten and if so what the fu@k is it.

Might be the perspex windshield 'wings' vibrating against the headlight fairing? O I used to put sum foam rubber in between (until it went ... seems to be related to the way you tighten the plastic bolts)

It's probably the instrument binnacle, when it starts vibrating grab hold of it and it should stop. It's got rubber mounts that seem to compress too much. I cut out some rubber washers to pack them out a bit and it worked for a while but the rattle has returned. I seemed to have got used to now so I'm going to leave it.

Another place to look for a rattle is between the headlight unit and the cowling, there is very little clearance between the two. I had to put a thin strip of inner tube each side and at the top to cure an annoying buzzing at 3000rpm.

+1 on that.

Only on my 3rd attempt I was able to tighten everything so the cowling doesn't touch the headlight. Annoying as hell form about 3300 to 3800 rpm.

All done I'd over tighten the screen screws backed them off a touch and all is well.
