New XT660z owner from Holsworthy Devon
Just joined the forum, name is Tim Selwyn, I deal in landrovers (Tredown landrovers). Had adventure bikes for some years,
1150 gsa 1200 gs 990 adv 1200 Tenere ,had this 20 months 18000 miles Now just got a 08 plate XT660Z saw it on ebay up at Minehead, 3800 miles thought at � 3100 with TT side panniers it was a good buy. First ride on sunday, down to plymouth to pick up some heated grips. Loved every miniute of it, felt light and narrow, thought I would be disapointed with the performance butthink I could get well used to it. handy the top box off the 1200 fits on the 660. Can't wait to go on some trips on it. got a funny feeling the 1200 won't get much use now. If anyone down here in the westcountry is up for any trips UK or abroad let me know. Did the artic circle in Norway last year , had to cancel a trip to France and one to Spain this year as the guys I was going with let me down. looking for some add on's. Hand guards, Exhaust, Taller screen, Tank bag, front fender extender, skid pan, Crash bars Better head lamp beam,and enything else that would finish it off. Can anyone recomend the best parts to buy and where to get them from. or has anyone got some parts they want to sell I've joined xt660.com, (very good) thanks Tim 07774 705954 tredown.landrovers@virgin.net |
