Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

That's a bit of an exterme interpretation, given that you would be stned or drunk for the entire ride, but normally only using your smartphone during a short period of that same ride.

Nevertheless, the numbers paint a pretty clear picture of how bad your attention is influenced while using the (smart)phone.
