It was a brave fight, but this great road is lost
Walna Scar road is one of our ancient rights of way, but unfortunately the Government inspector appears to be a redsock.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cumbria-16942068 So never again will the sound of the internal combustion engine grace this ribbon of England. It sit on a level with the 'Old Coach Road' in terms of enjoyment, now it's open to Horses, MTB's and wa kers.
