Fitting Off-The-Road LED Tail Mod?

Hi

I bought this

http://www.off-the-road.de/XT-660/Bo...od-XT-660.html

but the instructions are all in german, anyone got any help on fitting?

English and German instructions were supplied for the other items i bought at the same time which leads me to believe they might have english instructions but forgot to put them in, however i e-mailed them and got no response. If anyone has bought this and got english instructions with it id love to see it.

Any help appreciated

cheers

if you have plenty of time on your hands you could translate the german instructions using http://babelfish.yahoo.com/

Is there no way of asking them to send or email you the instructions in English. After all, you've just spent a fortune with them.

I just fitted the tenere version of this, all the instructions were in german as well wtf? and ****ty photos ,one thing i,d say is make sure all the bits are there before you start as i had the licence plate holder and other bits missing from mine, which considering it was 199 euros to buy is a f**king joke. if you get stuck pm me.

This company is not working serious lately, and they are not reliable.
I know for a few orders, that were not delivered as it should.
One of my friends made order for few things in december and he still did not receive the goods, and they did not gave him any explantion or warning for the delay.
He contacted them after weeks, and answer was, that they dont have some goods on stock, and they are waiting to me manufactured.
Ok, but they should give explanation when you place an order.
Or give info on webshop, that goods are not available imediately and what is delivery time.

I bought front sprocket, that did not fit on the axle, and I had to grind it to make it fit. It was some low quality taiwan product.

I am not completely sure about this, but another friend ordered Ohlins progressive springs, and I think he received regular linear springs. The spring looked just the same. And it was not more compressed spiral on one end. When he asked them what happened, they said that the difference is in material, and that he received progressive springs.

Does anybody know how the progressive spring from ohlins looks like?
So we can be sure what is true and wrong.
I do not want to make false statements.

I know Hyperpro and wilbers do have big difference in the look.

On the picture:
-upper spring is progressive
-lower one is linear
Is there the same diference in look at ohlins ones?

As far as I am aware Ohlins don't make progressive fork springs at all!

Re. translations,
there are plenty of multilingual members here. It should not be a problem to get some instructions translated. Does not take away from the fact that if you sell goods to England the instructions should be in in English too.

mine didnt come with a licence plate bracket or anything, although the pic on the site has one on it the description states you dont get one anyway.

one thing i have noticed is that the hole in the undertray for the number plate light is much too large, you can easily pass the light through it. i will have to seal it into the hole or make a bracket or something
