XTX660 from downunder.

Gday guys, just purchased my second xt in 25 years. Must say a vast improvement from 1981 lol.
First impression:
Great riding postion, but a touch on the heavy side compared to most motards. Front end is week as piss and needs some attention as you all know. Why put non adjusting forks and shocks in a 2006 model... wtf. Feels like a 1981 suspension package. Shame on you Yamaha.
Power is okay standard but go fast parts are on the way ( Thanks to this awesome forum, with top ideas and where to get them to. (rockin site)
Bikes seems to run out of legs on the highway but around the back roads with some twisties turns it rocks. Nice wheely machine to
All up happy, with mods to make me happier.

cheers Rod

Howdy from the nations capital. 2 things all xt owners want: more power and better suspension!
