Tsubaki chain fitment

I have bought a renthal final drive kit and it came with a tsubaki alpha series sealed o ring chain. The joining link on the chain seems to just push togother, does anyone know if this is right, anyone fitted one of these chains and got any tips?
Cheers AndE

Well I have one of those tsubacki chains and it does clip together but you need a chain splitter clamp to allow the pin to clamp in perfectly, any other way by hand with a hammer and chisel will just be barbaric attack and might seriously diminuish the chain life, unless you have the kit let someone in the profession do it for a fiver.

Use a large G-clamp and a 20mil socket to push the link on nice and tight, plate facing out. Dont forget to grease the inside of the link before fitting it and to fit the rings.
