touratech pedal shifter

Anyone ever fitted a touratech shift pedal or is it called gear lever , ?

I tried fitting it and this must be the easiest job ever , but on my ten this thing doesn't fit at all ...

it's like on touratech's website , saying the lever is much closer to the engine then the original one , preventing bending on a fall ..

well on my bike that's exactly the problem, the touratech part is way to close to the side stand , I have to place the touratech lever way to high to avoid touching the side stand (near the side stand switch)

when shifting down for first gear the pedal get's stuck since it touches the side stand , no matter how I place it , it keeps the same , only if I place the pedal that high , in a totally uncomfortable way , then the pedal barely touches the side stand ..

anyone having that same problem , or is my side stand just too much bended during heavy off road abuse ... , I doubt that , since the side stand seems quite a sturdy part ...
