Rear dirt tyre on front XTX rim?

Im looking at options for my XTX. Not only for a little fun on the gravel but for the monster truck looks it gives! I considering lots of options right now but this thread is for the stock rim size on the XTX. Im considering fitting two rear tyres to my existing XTX 17" rims. I fancy fitting a set of Continental TKX 80's.
Standard rear tyre on the XTX is 160/60 R17, best fit in the TKC 80's is a 150/70 B17 which sounds as though the overall profile would be about the same once fitted. Standard on the front is 120/70 R17 with the best TKC being 120/90 17. This is the correct width but a taller profile at 90 rather than 70 but i dont think it would be major. Clearance on the front may be close and the small much flat would need altering to fit i have no doubt but other than that i think the set up would look very mad max. Any one have any experaince with this or any thought? I know your meant to put a rear on the front but there are no other tyre choices available. here are some threads i found showing people who have already done it:
