Ola ladies and gentlemen, looking to get a centre stand(one of the many mods i`m now planning), and was wondering how easy/hard it is to fit it yourself? Any special tools required or is it a doodle? Yamaha dealer have yet to come back to me regarding a quote.

On another question, I`ve only done just over 2000 miles on the bike but am now over the 6 months limit. You recommend hanging on till 6,000 miles or should i get one anyway?Been quoted �170 at the dealers.

Talking of Yamaha dealers, this is one for the Scottish riders. I now live on west coast of Scotland and i`ve always assumed that I need to ride back to the dealer i bought the bike from. Only problem its in Edin, nearly 4 hours away so on top of the cost of a service its getting a bind. Are there any Yammy dealers or decent bike garages over towards the west that I could use to get my book stamped properly?
