After 4500 Miles
Thought i might post a review of my bike now it has some miles on it . Have been lucky and not had any problems apart from a broken clutch cable , which was at the lever end on the nipple. I have Yamaha centre stand, and hand guards, Givi screen, Touratech rear rack, Hagon front springs with 15w oil, Metal Mule lowering bones, DNA stage 1&2 filters, Kev Fuel Mod, Snorkal removed, MTC single carbon can, 42 tooth rear sprocket, and Scottoiler fitted . I find the Givi screen is better but still noisy . The Hagon springs are great, no more rocking horse effect. The lowering bones make quite a difference getting on and off and also it seems to handle better too. The DNA filters fuel mod and snorkal removal make a big difference to how it runs , and will now pull from 2500 revs where before it was gutless . The MTC can tops it off with a great sound and even more torque from low down. I havent taken it off road so the 42 tooth rear is fine for me, and nicer on longer runs . Its almost vibe free now aswell, although the chain does make vibes its not too bad. I think this is a bike that once you have sorted out is realy fun to ride and is a great looker too, great tank range, mpg, is good 2 up with luggage and is comfortable enough for me. Although i will have to get an air hawk for doing the serious miles !. P.S. I would just like to thank Kev and CaptMoto, for the support and sorting out the hardware for me . Also Gas Up and Lets Go for the advice and the Lakes info, will have to come next time as my clutch cable was broken and i waited nearly a month for a new one !. Thanks also to anyone who has replied to any questions i have posted, this is a great forum and website. Where you we be without it ! .
