Bash plates for 2 in 1 systems

Hi,

Am I right in finding that there are only 2 bash plates/sump guards designed to work with 2 in 1 systems on the XT660R:

- OTR
- Metal mule.

I have a B&B bash plate which is excellent but I am moving to a 2 in 1 system and it seems a waste of clearance to use the B&B with a 2 in 1 system.

Is there any other options/opinions?

Thanks in advance.

Pete.

p.s. and I don't have the skill to DIY unfortunately.

I have the TT bash plate on my XTX which i take off road occationally and have a big trip to Italy planned in a couple months where it will explore the mountains in North Italy. Its fitted with a scorpion 2 into 1 and just fits. The front bracket is very close to the 2 into 1 manifold but it did fit. To make sure i used a simple file to make a 3mm grove in the bracket to give a little more clearance as the motor moves just to be sure. Its a hefty bash plate as well, cover the fuel pump.
Check out this thread i started to see pics of the exhaust and plate on page 2:

cheers

Hi Pete

I'm considering a 2 into 1 system but am keen not to change my touratech bash plate. Was considering modding the brackets and seeing if i can tuck it up when the pipes are re routed.

Could you do that with yours?

Does anyone have experience of this?

With the metal mule high 2 into 1 the
B&B tenre plate will fit... yer just need to drill
2 holes in the rear so it can bolt to the ub used
XT pipe mounts that are welded to the frame..

not a good pic of the plate... can take a better one
if needed
