ok so I'm thinking about changing my front springs and all i could wind is that there is Hyperpro and Wilbers around same look and same price?

My question would be is there a better option for my XTXor its all the same?
Also it would be nice if someone could recomend cheepest online pleace or a xt660.com discount partner to order from if any

btw is there a difference between bike generation? mine is 2009...

I can only compare between the hyperpro in my sv and the wilbers in the ten. But I'd say they are comparable and you can just decide based on which you can get cheapest.

Both around the same spec.

Fit a set of progessive front springs with 15W fork oil, lower the front forks by 25mm, fit a set of rear XTR links which lower the XTX by 25mm.

When you have this complete set up your XTX will handle like it is on rails. Ask anyone who has ridden my bike.

I changed my front springs to hyperpro last year also changed the fork oil to 15w and this made the bike better to ride on bumpy roads as it felt a lot smother
Fitted the hyperpro rear spring a few months ago was a bit of a fiddly job but not to hard (with the right tools) and this also improved the way the bike rode

Kev was talking about changing the metal links only for the rear suspension, if you fit a set of XTR 'dog bones' or metal links it will lower the XTX.

If you ask on the forum some people have changed their XTR links to raise their bike with other links and might sell you their old XTR links for cheap (20-30).

Question Leo vince ???

What do you reckon to these zorsts (see above) they seem to be quite cheap seen them on a few crossers but what about on the xtx? never can tell off youtube just thinking of buying some.
Read a bit about fuelling probs on these bikes before i bought it & seems to randomly cut out from what little time i have had it started so was thinking filters exhaust & remap would sort it out?

Legacy boy please make sure you post things in contest with the thread, here they are talking about suspensions and you are asking about exhausts. It's not making sense.

I know you are new here, but please EXPLORE the forum a bit more before posting in the wrong thread. We've got almost everything covered, you just need to find the correct place.
