Hello guys I'm the mate with the wrong bike, went to b and c as they sent the wrong rear sprocket for my Aprilia, their records were wrong for this bike and the only one they had that would fit was +3 on the back, they gave me a 16t front to compensate so all should have been well. Except the 16T they gave me was a 14T...I realised when I rode it LOL

Anyway they said they didn't have a 16T front hence asking weeksy to ask here, remembered I'd joined then

Anyways thanks for the suggestion I've spoke to local Yam dealer who has ordered one apparantly from Yamaha so result

Was going to suggest BandC express, ordered off them a few times and very suprised as they where always quick at sending items out and never got anything wrong on my orders.

I had got one for my Z , but it was for an R and did not fit the spline ! . Am sure it was from them. You can always put a 3 tooth smaller rear on, and do the kev cush drive mod at the same time. Also its not easy getting the front sprocket off.

thats funny, cause BnC list the same sprockets from Renthals for XT X/R/Z so if it does not fit xtz it does not fit xtr.. same engine same sprocket sizes

it was listed as an R one. it did not fit as the Z spline. the Z looks to be more heavy duty than the fitting on the sprocket. also there is a plastic ring on the back of the sprocket that faces the engine. im not sure what this does, so if anybody knows please tell.
