In my case it worked to close the gap below the headlight.

The buffeting on my ten used to actually give me a headache, i removed the screen completely and this worked no more headaches.

I used the Skidmarx screen - much improved over standard until I smashed it!

Back to standard at the moment and will buy another Skidmarx..

I did buy the givi screen (which is exellent) and did the bird comb thing. works a treat. Also use a FAMSA tank bag for trips and motorways.... oh and now have a shoei xr1100 lid. Using all of these makes motorway and long trips enjoyable. I'm back in love with the ten.

Hello, i know this post has years... however, i would like to share with you what i made in my screen.
I cut a small hole and with a little bit heat i bend a little the screen allowing to some air go thru avoiding the vacum behind the screen...

It works perfectly, i can ride 180Kph without wind turbulence. I'm very tall and have no problems.
My original screen is a Givi.

You can see some pictures in this link:

(it's a portuguese forum for XT users.)
After the cutting, i put it some vynil over it so the finish would be nice.
