Any suggestions?!?

The wife has granted me permission to take the Ten out for a ride tomorrow, can't decide where to go though!

Have ridden once in the last 5 months due to my accident so my head isn't in gear properly. The hand is completely healed and back up to strength so it's time to get back in the saddle.

I live on the London/Surrey border near the A3. Would like to be out for 4 or 5 hours.

Any suggestions for routes or destinations would be gratefully received!

ok a regular very good ride for me...head to Boxhill Rykas, Dorking, then A24 SOUTH, then turn right A29. Stop at the bikers cafe on top of Bury Hill, before Arundel.
Then continue SOUTH on A29 to end. Turn right, to Chichester on A27.
You should be heading for Petersfield..
(You can make a diversion off the A27 to visit Bosham, and if you do that, coming back at the A27 roundabout, coninue straight over, heading for B2146, Petersfield, as the alternative)
Take the B2149 (to A3M) Petersfield (a 10mile blast), come off and into Peterfield. Take signs A272 MIDHURST/PETWORTH, and pass through both towns, and to Billingshurst.
At Billingshurst, rejoin the A29 HEADING NORTH.

from WOT that should be a 2 1/2 hr ride all in.

You could extend it by B2150 to DROXFORD, then A32 to join the A272.

Hmmm, that route sounds familiar.....im sure i've ridden it before, only without knowing the road names!

I think i'll just head out to Ryka's for brekkie and then see where the day takes me, probably to the seaside for a bag of chips!

If anyone else is going to Ryka's tomorrow feel free to say hi.

how about (in my view) a truly great bikers cafe?, Chalet Cafe nr Cowfold RH13 8DU. Cheaper and much better....and puts you in a nice road for the seaside! Open at 8 on Sunday, you should be in good company..and it will probably have more diners than Ryka's.

You may well know it, if I show you a piccy....
