Replacing the handlebars...
Hi Guys,
I've purchased a new set of Renthal bars to replace the standard (now scratched) Afam ones. I know that some have you have done this already. Does anyone have any tips for removing the throttle and all the switchgear from the bars? I had a quick look today, and everything looks pretty well secured... Any suggestions greatfully received! Storm

All I know you have to drill a hole somewhere on the new one for a pin to go in so that the switchgear doesn't roll over when loose. check it on your old ones.

Or cut the pin off as Kev suggested in an earlier post, which will make the controls more adjustable/customisable. You just need to make sure they don't come loose or else you will have a hard time trying to find your indicators and hooter.
