Will this do for now, too cold to go out again!

Clevis pins

R clip

You'll need a couple of washers too.

I've ditched the clevis pins for now as they weren't quite the right diameter and cross-drilled some bolts. I found that with the two Dezus fiixings and the box locked its secure anyway!

Doesn't look it from the pictures, but taking the lid off makes unbelievable difference getting a tool roll in.

(Forgot - you'll need to superglue the nylon bushes in place (to the lid side) or you'll lose them!)

Thanks chaps.

I'll not be getting my tyre levers is there then, but OK for shorter tools or a small tool roll to keep them clean and dry. It's a good place to store dead weight.

That's exactly why I chose this option. When the bike's loaded it can be very arse heavy, every little bit of weight you can get up front (and low) the better.

...and we don't like things of beauty being arse heavy! In fact she (or it) doesn't even need to be beautiful, just not arse heavy..

Today I wanted to fill my toolbox (was empty for the last 8 month). And I found it cracked from both sides! I'm not sure if it's coming from the vibrations of the Ten or I hit something badly with my bike. But I can't think of anything... I wrote a mail to Touratech, let's see and wait what they're thinking about. I can weld this by myself...
