New sprocket time i think.

Decided that i want a little more get up and go from the XT so have gone for a 47 rear. Thinking is that it will put my speedo and odo out by 4.4%. Am hoping it gives me just that little bit more kick in the bum and grunt that i'm looking for.

Was actually debating a Husqvarna 510smr on ebay but the XTx is pretty damn close to perfection... just not 100%. Close though.

Arrived this morning and fitted

Even better is that they've sent a satin black one looks excellent.

Assuming the rain stays away later, will be out testing it this afternoon.

Went on with no issues, but i think my chain is a little stretched from a new one. have a reasonable ammount of adjustment, about 12mm of thread left after the nuts.

Mmmmmm that's better. Much better. Gives it a bit more 'oomph' where you need it. Speedo still showed 108mph and has a little more if needed, maybe 110 clock speed.

Feels better kicking out of corners, doesn't labour so much and pulls nicely.
Well happy with that
