Basic handling tips
Ok, so I've ridden bikes for 19 years but the XT is a new experience. I've actually never ridden a one cylinder bike before, nor an off-road type of bike.
Can you give me some general advice here please?
Riding a straight isn't to hard but when starting to play around a bit I feel a bit uncertain. I'm starting to get used to the curve taking with this sucker. First I almost hit the sign pole in the middle of the road as the bike turnes quicker than I am used to... But, in general, do you sit up against the tank or further back? Do you ride at lower gears or higher up to get the rev down?
When leaving the tarmac, how should my riding change?
Basic questions but I'm eager to get to use this bike to the fullest.
