Tank bags - TT OR FAMSA

Hi,

just want to share our findings on Tank bags.

We have purchased and tested both the Touratec and Famsa tank bags for our XTR's.

We find that the Famsa bag to be the better option as quality wise the two are even but the Famsa bag has more features.

The Famsa has two side pockets and a rear pocket that is ideal for our Autocom radios. The Famsa is larger without being over size and is 100 times easier to remove for re-fueling or removing from the bike.

The map window on the TT bag is bigger which i think is the only small advantage over the Famsa.

Verdict = TT bag on ebay soon.

Lesson learnt = not every thing with TT on it is best.

Not too sure about your model of the Famsa but i found the plastic map cover would constantly mist up on mine. Not too worried as ive a Sat Nav but when ever i had stuff inthere is always got wet.

I didn't even know about the Famsa... I have a Wolfman on order though, I hope it works out well.
