Are Carbon Cans that bad?

Hi all.

I'm looking into getting some new cans for my XTX and was going to go for some Carbon Can Company stainless steel ones until I saw some of the bad stuff about CCC on here. Are they really that bad? If they are, which would be a comaprable brand price/performance/style-wise?

Cheers, Mr Bungle

Hi Mr Bungle,
I can personally recommend MTC's as a quality comparable exhaust to the CCC ones. Couple of others on the forum have also bought the MTC's and are very pleased.

Had mine for 4 years now....no problems whatsoever.

CCC changed ownership recently with a poor service record so far, hence the bad reviews.

Nothing wrong with the CCC product, it's there service that is the problem.

Akrapovic all the way.. maybe expensive but awesome product and even better aftersales service, and their single carbon can system looks damn gorgeous i think!

Daves ccc's do sound awesome but then so do my mtc's.
After seeing both I dont think there's a lot between them.
I havent heard any complaints about mtc on here but many about ccc, and all bar one have been about service not the product. That said there are a LOT more people with ccc than mtc so the level of complaints would be higher.

If you can wait untill Lakelands and you can attend then you'll be able to compare them for yourself.
