Interesting article, My Thoughts from a recent test ride of a 1200 gs was just how awful the bike rode : vague steering, rubbish suspension souless engine and I really wasnt impressed.

The Ducati multistrada was in a different league and will no doubt steel lots of sports bikes sales.

The New Super Ten has every chance of out selling both bikes as it looks like it will bridge the gap between hyper adventure bike and bavarian tractor.

Yamaha just need to get Ewan and Charley to do another tour using Super Tens and they will sell like warm cakes

Roland Brown has done a quick review of the S10 in the Sunday Times ingear sunday paper mag supplement. ~He seems to like it , only critising the price and lack of in motion suspension adjustment ala GS / Duc MS. and that heated grips should be included FOC.

Agree 100%. Ordered some for mine.....285.....

They are so expensive due to the electronic throttle control being integral. To fit as original equipment would have cost Yamaha only about another 20 and the end user probably 50.
Still, I suppose if the throttle controler breaks, I will have a spare ???

WTF!! Just for heated grips???!!!!

I see Yamaha really have pitched the S-10 into the Touratw*t/BMUU market

Out of my league - plus there's no way I'd pay more for a bike than I would for a car!!

Cars are for girls - JMo & Piglet excepted of course.

Besides, the sad truth is that this will probably be the last big bike I buy before I die !

I'm just jealous I can't afford to spend (or even justify) that sort of money on a bike even though it would be a tax deductable expense!
