Re-routed headers a-la true SM styles ? - .: XT660.com

Anyone given any thought to rerouting the headers to a more SM style either up the side of engine or even up around shock/swingarm area ?

Pro's:

Con's:

louder pipe really really really loud (possible mot fail with or without baffle, hence you must swap for original before every mot.)
must re-route rear brake reservoir and master cylinder all the way up to the filter port, otherwise it will melt
must protect & isolate the ht lead for the same reason
must re-route and protect coolant oil pipe on the right side of the radiator or this will go up in smoke too
must always wear high motocross style boots or you'll get a nasty burn on the inside of your calve muscle.
extremely hot in summer
Off The Road will charge you an arm and a leg for it anyway....
