Beach Camping
Evening campers! I'm looking for a site, or just somewhere to camp on the beach in Wales, any thoughts appreciated. Especially if it's somewhere that I could sneak on the beach for some riding...

all i have to post is blackrock sands .there is a site were you can camp .you just cross the road and you can have a checky ride down the 2 mile long beach.dont no site name but its at the end of the rd at blackrock sand .

There is a camp site right behind the beach at Newgale in Pempbrokeshire West Wales. The beach is fantastic especally at low tide, there is also a pub next to the camp site and somewhere to hire a surf board if you are so inclined. There are also lots of superb XT roads too.I live a few mile away so if you do come PM me.

Just re-read your post, no riding on the beach though. You used to be able to ride at Pendine Beach but that has been stopped too, where will it all end !!

Know this is an old post but you can drive on Pendine Sands... must be a campsite somewhere around. Not at this time of year if you are a bit faint hearted..

Dont know but ye can on Makrahanish beach in the mull o Kintyre,,, north west Scotland....way way west.... an sanna bay in ardnamurchan.. scotlands most westerly point on the mainland...some pics o me anma twomates.. an the the three most important girls in ma life.. ma wife o 28 years an ma two weans..

oh aye an ye kin have a fire on the beach as well an cook grub...we brought a load a grub wi us an 5 pack throw away bb`q`s,, we put the tents up an went tae play in the dunes, an i noticed wed left the 5 pack on the sand 50yds fae our tents.. they said,,lets gitthem an bring them over.. i said they`l be alright , we`1l get them later.. later.. they wir gone.. so the corrugated iron tin sheeyt wis the next best thing... it made a great fryin pan
