Wind Deflector/Sat Nav Bracket
Been working on a deflector to try to stop some of the turbulance associated with the Ten, thought I would combine with a RAM sat Nav bracket, finished the prototype now, will give it a test before getting anodised or painted. Let me know what you think, hopefully will work but still look good.
Hope the picture attach ok, its my first effort ? |

Very interesting Roffe.... does it work well or make a decent difference?
I would try and isolate your GPS from vibes off the handle bars though. Good job however. Cheers Reg.

Neat work Roffee.
With my own experimenting and the pictures from others, I think you will find that you have not made the plate sit far enough back to make any difference to the air movement. I also agree with Reggie that the GPS will need some shock mounting. Interested in the results. Paul |

best and cheapest option i've found.
4.00/5.00 from a builders/roofing merchant for 1.5mtr and cut to shape. just ask to look at the plastic felt support trays. http://www.flickr.com/photos/39788003@N06/3654492369/ hope helps |

most certainly . diverts the wind that comes up near the forks onto your chest.
did a ride to the french alps last year and without it, it would have been impossible due to the helmet turbalence i was getting. works for me. just an idea to try for yourselves that doesnt cost much. let me know how you get on if try |
