Stage 3 Filter getting damaged by Boot

After some technical riding I noticed that my MX boot was rubbing against the filter while standing and causing the thin metal wires to be damaged. I can see this ruining the filter after a few hundred rough kilometers.

Here is my solution. Some Ally cut bent and shaped to fit, it is bent away from the filter so it should have zero effect on air flow (no more than my leg is having at the moment :-) )and is at its widest as wide as the seat, Works great and doesn't look to bad I think. Might need to have this done as part of the Kit from DNA to avoid costly replacements.

Also note the sexy new footpegs

They are made by a company called Airtime
I bought them locally from accessories shop, They don't make a set that fits the Tenere so I got what looked the closest and modified them to fit, The model FP-2511 for the CR450F 02-08 only needs some grinding and shaping to fit on the Tenere, You will also need a new set of springs as the stock one is to thick,

Thanks

Jules
