What I know about my Tenere mechanics could be written on a postage stamp. I am NO mechanic.

So. DNA P-Y6EO8-S2 Air cover filter. Here it is 80.00€ plus 8.00€ P+P to Europe.

My quaestion is this, on the DNA sight there is also the TC-Y6EO8-S2, TOP COVER RING AND AIR INTAKE. This is 37.36€ plus 15.00€ postage.

PLUS the R-Y6EO8-01 'Normal' air filter? 40.09€ plus 15.00€ P+P.

The P-Y6EO8.S2 Air cover filter is 86.00€ plus 15.00€ P+P A significant increase in price.

Two questions; Do I need all three 'things' or is the original Yamaha filter dissused and the side filter only used? What does this new top ring and cover do?

Why can't I purchase all three things here (IF all three are needed)?

Why is it each item will cost me 15.00€ each P+P from DNA direct?

So, do I need the three parts? Can I buy them through this forum?

Lastly what is a 'Power commander' I understand that when these parts are changed one needs to do something to the petrol intake or something? Does a 'normal' Yamaha dealer have this 'power commander'? If not where do I get one and would I have the ability to understand it and use it?
