Leovince exhaust
Hi Guys
Just fitted some Leovince exhaust this morning. Look great and sound fantastic if a little loud. Now the dumb part . As I was clearing away the packaging I found two circular metal discs with a number of holes drilled in them. Are these what everyone refers to as decibel killers? Nick |

The dB killers are the inserts that fit in the outlets of the pipes. You can just see them fitted in this pic. of my bike. They are held in place by a little bolt under the end cap.
The discs are extra noise killers that fit at the pipe end of the silencer and help lower the noise even more. My Leos for my Tenere didn't come with the discs but the pair that I bought for my Caponord did. The Capo isn't too noisy without the discs so I fitted the discs to the Tenere instead as I found it a bit too noisy. They have done the job well and for me the noise level with the discs and the dB killers is just right. |

Thanks for the info. I tried them with and without the discs and have to agree they are just at the right level with them in.

Baffle picture
Hey guys can you help me with a picture of a removed baffle? I'm in the process of installing some Leo Vince SBK Replica Evo II on the Tenere and I believe that the baffle is different (the cans are from a Hornet 2007).
Thanks a lot!! |
