Alarm connectors under seat, where do they go? Snitcher installation

Hi guys, I am planning to fit a Datatool Snitcher to the XT to work in conjuction with the current alarm.

The snitcher requires a constant live, an ignition switched live, and an earth.

As part of the current alarm system wiring, the two connectors coming out of the yamaha wiring loom are being used, I was hoping I would be able to splice into these wires for my snitcher wiring.

So does anyone know which I would need to use?

I followed the alarm connectors (67) on the bike wiring diagram, and I think they are joined to:

*(11) Backup fuse (immobiliser)
*(66) Immobiliser unit

*Earth
*(63) Signalling system fuse
*(40) Turn signal indicator light, which is joined to (49) Hazard switch, which is joined to (53)(54)(55)(56) Indicators
*The same as the wire above

Am I right in thinking then that I could use the *Earth wire as earth for snitcher, and the *(66) Immobiliser unit wire as constant live for the snitcher?

Or would my best choice be to run join the snitcher direct to the battery for constant 12V and earth, and then splicing into the wiring loom somewhere else for the ignition switched live? Where would I be best getting the ignition switched live from? Rear running light?

Many thanks

Harry
