Connecting a power supply

Hi Guys, i want to connect one of those "Hella" power supplies for GPS, Cell phone charging etc. Is it just a matter of running 2 wires to the battery with say a 3amp inline fuse?

Will this not drain the battery?

You ned to creat an auxiluary circuit with a relay. there is a post that explains how to fit aux lamps and wire them up - you need the same circuit, but the load (the fog/drivning lamps) should be replaced with your PDU
