Mitas tyres

Just ordered a pair of Mitas for my Ten. Rear is a C02 and the front is a C19. Using a C02 and a TKC 80 front at the mo so should get a bit less shifting around from the front with the C19. On tarmac ? Hillarious. lol.

Fitted a set of army special tyres yesterday. Good service and fast delivery and easy to fit.... BUT they don't feel very good on the road going to work this morning. Trying to lean into bends is not too clever. They bob and weave in bends badly. Once the weekend trail riding is over they'll be coming off again for a more road based tyre.

Thats why! I run mine at 23 psi front and 25 rear. try it you'll be surprised by the difference.

Once I got use to them I had no trouble banking over on them.
The front tyre will move about on the tread due to the weight of the tenere and the height of the knobbiles on the tyre,

I ran mine at 25 both front and back for on and off road, rode to france on them last year and done about 400-500 mile off road plus the road milage getting there and coming back.

Also used them when I done the Hafern rally in Wales last year loads of grip in the mud and rocky climbs.

My honest opinion for what it is worth is the rear tyre is very good but the front is to soft for the weight of the Tenere, I think a MT 21 would be more suited for the front
