OTR LED Tailight

Greetings!

Three of the eight LEDs on my OTR tail light have packed it in

Two questions:

1. Are LEDs easy to change?

2. Do these types of aftermarket light units use the same template, i.e will the holes in the back be the same?

Shot in the dark I know, but if I can't change the LEDs I would prefer to order a unit from anywhere but OTR, and be able to fit it directly to my existing home-made tail tidy.

Rock on

hey,
im not sure about the refitting and everything of new LED'S i presume you could just remove them and resolder some new ones in as long as you get them in the right way round!

As for getting a new light, I have a DRC Edge 2 on my R it cost me about 35 inc postage if i remember and its brilliant! ill post a pic tomorrow when i get one as im just finnishing of my rear Mods!

Thats the Light that i use on my tail tidies that i seel, the DRC Edge 2 tail light.

also use it on my off roaders / green laners for years, and never had a problem

Look at the for sale section under WB's tail tidies and the red LED is the DRC one

Just had a look at them WB, the LED version looks identical to the OTR one, which is a good thing. Would need to know the distance between the two bolts on the rear of the unit to make sure it fits my current tail tidy.

How much would it be for just the rear light mate?

Thanks & Regards
Denny

Hi WB,

Checked the measurements & it looks like it will fit without too much hassle. Will need to drill two new holes for the bolts.

I'll send you the money on Monday morning from the office via paypal. Please send me your Paypal address.

Thanks again bud

Denny
