Anyone have a link to a site detailing the information about the 660 engine? Where was it designed? (i.e. Yamaha Japan?) Where are they built?

engine is produced by an Italian Factory. The name is Minarelli, in Bologna town. I don't know who engineered that, but I think the first one is Japanese.

^ Thanks for the reply.. I heard they were built in Italy, just wasn't sure how true it was. Mods.. not sure why this is here, I must have clicked on the wrong link. Can you move to the XT660R section?
