Help with insurance

After my accident back in june it is finally being sorted out but this is where i am stuck ,this is the email i have had back off the solicitors

I have sent the documentation requested by ***** to them and await their response. I spoke with the engineers who examined the bike and they say it is a borderline write-off with a value of 2,975 and estimated repair costs of 2,955.

The bike was only 2 months old ,is there anything i can do as that seems very low for a bike of that age

Jase had a new XTZ IIRC.

If thats the case I'd ask my dealer to quote me what they think it is was worth (mayre more than 1 dealer) and send that to your solicitor requesteing that they use those figures for the bikes true worth. Essentially you are disputing the insurers valuation of your bike by providing valluations of your own.

Rang the dealer today and it seems that the quote of the value of the bike that was originally given of 2975 is for a XT660R trail 58/09 plate ,The tenere is 3975 so waiting to hear back from them
