Just got back from spending this afternoon riding the Tenere around a friends farm, enjoying the woods! The unmade roads and wooded tracks were great fun, if a little slippery on the Siracs! But that was nothing compared to the really muddy stuff! This was what happened to the guys, shortly after I spent 10 mins getting out of the same spot with a a bit of help from two mates!
Me with the Ten....
And a nice shot over the farm....
The tracks were slippy with the front end moving round a fair bit. I had my son on the back initially, which was fine till I got stuck. Bumping and walking the bike out of the mud almost gave me a coronary! So after that he went in the back of the Suzuki. I was well impressed with the Ten, bearing in mind the tyres it was on and with me not having had much off road experience in the muddy stuff. It was tricky to see what was under all the leaves. A good fun couple of hours.... and it took a JCB farm forklift to finally haul the Defender out of the mud!
