Engine Popping Back

Hi All

I have searched the 17 pages in this section and can't find anything on the engine popping back, mine tends to do it a fair bit, does anyone else get this happening?

Can anyone explain why this happens and how it can be minimized??

Would be great!!!

Cheers

Its basically unburnt fuel that goes throught the engine and hits either hot exhausts or other burnt fuel and fires up and makes this popping noise.

The best way to get ride of it is to get a PC111 and get your bike dyno'ed and that should sort it out.

The other way is to when your backing off the throttle back off it completely as when you hold the throttle open a wee bit more fuel is pushed in and just burns off automatically.

I dont mind it really and its not too bad as i run with the baffles in on my CCC cans.

thanks for all the info guys, just for the record I dig the popping back sounds, on the test ride these were one of the factors that made me say "this is for me"... was just curious on why this happened and how to fix it, thinking it may of been bad for the engine.

Once again, thanks for all the info gents, top work!!
