Tour X 2
Ok so i,ve been using the TourX 2 for 18 months now and this is just a bit of a sumery of what I think of it!!
I,ve had enough of it!!! Its too noisy, I have had too replace 3 of the screws that hold the peak and visor on as they broke and now the 2 plastic bits that fit against the peak have busted (im not heavy handed) 2 visors have busted where they go over the mounting pivots, and now today on the way home from work as I did a life save before an over take a 3rd visor has busted because the plastic bits on the side of the viser have busted and the wind riped the visor open. As I say this is just my findings with this lid but now it gota go!! Oh yer if you wont to change a visor its a 10 minnet job with a screw driver!

No, just a heavy
pawed Bear
I'm on my second tour x(1) with no problems to report (other than the usual scratches everywhere!)

You're the second person I know who's had issues with the screws and visor...
Kinda glad I opted for the Shoei

I"m in the market for a new lid... thanks for the post Bear I'll knock the TourX off my shorlist, besides for that much dosh I'd expect it to make me coffee in the morning. Think its going to be the Airoh S4 despite the highwayrobbery
price for a dark visor.

The trouble is every time you bust a visor its 40 odd quid for a new 1.
Ive got my eye on a new lid so when it turns up I will post some pics.

I never had pb with my Tour X2 except that it was misting heavily and not pinlock compatible.
Then I fell off in the moroccan desert and had to change it. I now own a Tour X3 since last december and have covered about 12 000km with it in all weather conditions (including trail riding in Spain) It's probably noisier than my full face but I wear ear plugs most of the time, so it doesn't reaslly matter. 1 plastic screw holding the peak visor broke, but I have 4 spares from the Tour X2. Changing a visor takes about 2mn and a 5cents coin ;-) But I agree it's not as easy as it could be. I couldn't go back to a helmet without a peak or at least integrated sun visor. I'm very happy with the Tour X3 with the new vents + pinlock + peak designed reducing the turbulences/vibrations
