I was in Webs yesterday and they were saying that it is unlikely to happen as they are not selling as meny Teneres as was hoped for!
The guy in the stores said it would be a good idea to by an engine from another bike as there were quite a few of these engines about(cant remember which 1 it was now but it was a 900) and then mod the frame to take it  .

i would think if their going to do it it will end up a 900 and its a top motor in the tdm but as the norm they will kill the the motor with a retune blah blah blah

The 1200cc thing was a stupid rumour started by MCM, why would any sane person want to build a 1200cc offroader? =/
