sump guard
just picked up sump guard today. not much instructions with it, but am i right in saying that the front bracket is fixed with the bolt that is already there which is through the frame and front of engine????? if you know what i mean...

Hi,
Be aware that when you take the bolts out the engine can slump within the frame which means that the bolt might not fit back through as elegantly as it did originally. I managed to chew up a bolt's thread without realising as the alignment was off by a mere 0.5 mm. Luckily my neighbour was wise to this sort of thing and heaved the bike up by the water pump to re-align the holes. Top man! Cheers, Ian |
