which battery for x

Hi guys
Can you help me?
My xt660x battery has given up the ghost, will charge up but only start the bike once, leaving me stuck at work.Only reads 12v when fully charged.
what battery should i get(model no; & make), does the number change with different makes? Done a few searches on net and get lots of different model numbers, (they cant all be right, can they)
Any suggestions as where the best place to get the battery from? and how mutch it will cost.
Sorry if this question has been asked a hundred times before, but nothing turned up in site searches

Question asked 101 times now! no worries

Here is the exact original battery and you won't find it cheaper anywhere else cause an official Yamaha dealer will want about 70 incl vat, for it so snap this one quick:

Cheers for that capt moto
Ordered and payed for, they have 47 more in stock if anyone else needs one.
My local Yamaha stealer wanted 120 for a genuine battery. Apparently a R6 one is about 160, think that was suppost to make me feel better about spending 120, hope he dont have ear ache from the loud bang as i put the phone down , from what i could see while searching about internet it is the same battery
Cheers again

I did tell you it was the original battery I wouldn't have lied to you.

Still I find it difficult to believe that your dealer is asking 120 for that battery. What's he doing? making a fortune out of unsuspecting customers? Someone should contact fair trading here and report them.

I was shown the retail price by an official Yamaha dealer last year, and it was 67 + vat it couldn't have gone up double the cost in one year, could it?

The price was from Brackley Yamaha, give them a ring if you want a laugh
